Maybe not the best subject description, but this is my problem.

A while ago I have changed my website into a DNN-one.
The URL is: www.my_website.nl

My former website had the same URL. There were a few websites that linked to a section of this page. The URL of this section was: www.my_website.nl/section.

This section doesn't exist anymore in my website. In fact this couldn't even be a URL in a DNN-site, could it?

Anyway, I want these links to redirect to my homepage, www.my_website.nl.

How can I enable this?! Do I have to add another Portal alias?!

This might be helpful. You can setup IIS to handle 404s and redirect them to your homepage. Ideally, these should be setup as a 301.

Thanks for your reaction!

However, I'd rather have only this specific webpage redirected to the homepage.
We have a decent error-webpage, so that should be displayed when other errors occur.

I see. It costs a little ($120 US) but iFinity's URL Master would be perfect in this situation. It's terrific for old to new migrations and handles vanity directories any way you want.

Thanks again! Don't want to sound impolite, but, I thought it would be possible to fix this from within my current DotNetNuke-installation. So without any additional extensions, and for sure without extra costs.

Does this mean that my problem isn't that obvious and I dó have to make a bigger effort to fix this?!

Any other (easier) solutions?!
