Is there a web.config file in your project directory? (This happens when you change the target framework version for example). Delete it, and it will work fine... (Do not delete the web config file from the web root!)

Best wishes

Hi Chris, yes I followed your video, but I think the problem I have it is in setting up the module development enviroment. The main problem is: Creating of the virtual directory http://dnndev/desktopmodules/userDisplay/ failed with the error: Could not find the server 'http://dnndev' on the local machine. Creating a virtual directory is only supported on the local IIS server. I think I'll need a more detail guide to configure my enviroment or something to solve that problem with the virtual directory that the problem indicates.

You should not need a virtual directory.
