Will there be any issues or problems if we have multiple codebases of dnn referring to one db. The reason is i may want to have a codebase for qa1environment and qa2forprodbackup and qa3forOffshore and so on for multiple environments.

Then i would like to create multiple websites for each codebase as they could have separate app pools as they are on shared server and if one goes down others will not get affected.

 am wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

Any DNN instance caches a lot of internal data in memory. If another instance, for example, adds a page, then the first instance may not realize it for a while.

Often this is not an issue, but you should be aware of it.
