Hi,

Is it just me or is someone else also experiencing the same problem that I have. I have created a page called Community. In that page I have placed a Journal module on the left pane and the Social Groups module on the right pane. As soon as I add the Social Groups module or create a group, the details of the Journal disappear as in I can't see any post or the comments box, they have all gone. The same applies to the online demo : http://demo.dotnetnuke.com/sayedwasim/Community.aspx

Is there something i'm missing or this is in fact a bug.

Best regards,
Wasim

Like you, Waslm, I find something seriously missing in using this module.

1. The only way to Journal in the timeline is to be logged in as Admin. Have to log in but as a Registered user you can only then see that's there, can't do anything, can't post, nothing.
2. I've tried using the social modules on 3 sites, all the same. Logging into your dnn demo.dotnetnuke.com is the same - I register and can see and do pretty much nothing at all.
3. I've set permissions as loose as possible, no joy.

I would really like to give what I promised. On the standard install a anonymous user can't even click successfully on the Discussion Forum and have it show. Have to register to even see anything. Is there a video or serious of instructions available to actually set this up correctly?

News Flash - The problem was the skin, greytness doesn't allow the social functions to work much at all. Switching back to Dark Knight and presto.

Still buggie in many areas but I won't get into that right now. Functional enough for my needs at the moment. Don't know if that fixes Wasim's issue or not, no clue there.
