When I go to my Host settings, performance settings, I do not have the Compression or Whitespace options available. They simply are not showing up.  Only Page State, Module Cache, Cache Setting, and Authentication Cacheability are there.

Am I missing something in a config file that shows those settings?

It might help if you stated the version of DNN you're having issues with.

I see the same behavior  on 6.1.0 and 6.2.1.

Compression was deprecated in DNN 6.2.x, you can use the compression settings in IIS instead.

That doesn't exactly help anyone with shared hosting or for admins with no access to IIS. :(
