I found this was happening because I used the full install instead of the upgrade package.

Once I used the upgrade package, it corrected the issue for me.

I don´t understand when you speak about upgrade version for client dependency file.

I have a process that installs or updates dnn into a domain, like plesk automation, but when I try to update a 6.1.5 version to 6.2.4, it gives me the css and jss problems, with others dnn version dosen´t give me those errors (5.5.0, 4.5.2...)

The error:
I have dnn 6.1.5 instaled and update it to 06.02.04 version, but I need to copy the install source files, because this is a automatic method, and the files are the same for install or upagrade (even telerik dll that in previus versions is smaller)

the 6.1.5 shows me this header: (into ClientDependencyHeadCss and ClientDependencyHeadJs PlaceHolders )

link href="/dotnetnukeupd/Portals/_default/Skins/DarkKnight/skin.css?cdv=24" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"
link href="/mypath/Portals/_default/Containers/DarkKnight/container.css?cdv=24" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"
link href="/mypath/Portals/_default/Containers/DarkKnight/Banner.css?cdv=24" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"
link href="/mypath/Portals/0/portal.css?cdv=24" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"
link href="/mypath/admin/ControlPanel/module.css?cdv=24" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"
link href="/mypath/Portals/_default/Skins/DarkKnight/DNNMega/dnnmega.css?cdv=24" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"
link href="/mypath/Portals/_default/Skins/_default/WebControlSkin/Default/ComboBox.Default.css?cdv=24" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"
script src="/mypath/Resources/Shared/Scripts/jquery/jquery.min.js?cdv=24" type="text/javascript"
script src="/mypath/Resources/Shared/Scripts/jquery/jquery-ui.min.js?cdv=24" type="text/javascript"

Once it is upgraded the ClientDependencyHeadCss and ClientDependencyHeadJs PlaceHolders are empty.

Other thing that I have see is that 6.1.5 version have into Portals\_default\Skins and Portals\_default\Containers:

DNN-Blue, DNN-Gray and MinimalExtropy folders that are not located into original install package

Can you help me with this issue

Best Regards and sorry for my English
