Hello, and thanks for taking the time to check out my post.

I use Godaddy and I'm trying to upgrade to 6.02.02.  followed the steps for upgrading (video)  so I know I'm backed up, but things didn't work for me.  I got this error message:

Server Error in '/DNN' Application.

Parser Error

Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Web.Common.Internal.DotNetNukeHttpApplication'.

Source Error:

Line 1: <%@ Application Inherits="DotNetNuke.Web.Common.Internal.DotNetNukeHttpApplication" Language="C#" %>

Source File: /DNN/global.asax Line: 1

Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.4223; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.4223

Not sure why, but that's as far as the upgrade process got upgrading with the install.aspx?=upgrade in the address bar.

I know that on 5.0 the global said laungage = vb.  Am I just trying to install the wrong version here, and there is a vb version I should be installing?

Any help, or even just pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Upload the upgrade files again.
Re-run the upgrade
Run this URL http:///install/install.aspx?mode=installresources and verify the extensions are all installed.

Make sure when you extract the "UPGRADE" package that you have UNBLOCKED it before extracting. Right click on the ZIP file and choose properties, if there is an UNBLOCK button click on that, then extract the files again and upload as Ken suggested.
