Hi,

I am a newer on DotNetNuke.  I got a web site built by DotNetNuke. In the source code folder, I just saw Default.aspx. In this file, I didn't find any href code. But in the home page, I checked web source code. There are several href code in the source code. I am wondering where I can find these href page in my folder or these pages stored in DotNetNuke server?

The previous person built this website by DotNetNuke. I have to keep going on this website.

Thanks!

DotNetNuke manages it's content using a sql server database, new pages in DNN are not actual files on the file system, but records stored in the database. You will need to login to your website with an account that has Edit or Admin permissions in order to make changes.

Thanks for your reply! :)  I have other two questions. I can't visit that SQL server database directly, right? Since our webpage connects to a local SQL server database. The database you are talking about is different to our local database, right?

You can access the DB directly using a tool like Sql Server Management Studio.

As for which database the website is using, you'll need to look at the web.config file to see the connection string and see where it points.
