I am hosting at WinHost.com
And using there App web installer

I created a new db named : DNN

I then changed the password to the database DNN

In webappgalleryinstall.aspx
I name the directory : dnn
I “Select Database”  and pick the database: DB_46240_dnn
The Database Server filled in : s05.winhost.com
Database Name: DB_46240_dnn
Database Username: DB_46240_dnn_user
Database Password: mypassword

CLICK the install application button

Window warning  Pops UP -  CLICK OK

A little graphic timer pops up the disappears ( now what?? )

I guess I should click the back button
I have no idea what to do next. So I now check to see if there is a directory created ? Yes there is, so I guess I should try http://yumatimes.com/dnn

InstallWizard.aspx
I keep the dropdown on English
I keep the radio button selected to: Typical
I click Next
I keep all the check boxes check as default the click Next

In the Config Database window
Select Database: SQL Server 2005/2008 Database
Server: s05.winhost.com
Database: DB_46240_dnn
Integrated Security is UNCHECKED
User Id: DB_46240_dnn_user
Password: mypassword
Run as db Owner is CHECKED
Object Qualifier: BLANK
I Click the Next Button

Building Your Database Page
Installing database script animated progress bar working
Inside the progress text box it reads
Installing Database – Version 06.00.00…
Nothing else
(not like the video showed. No list being created nothing seems
to be happening)
Time 10:27am
Watching the installation video again, I am waiting
To get to the Configuring you Super User Page

Time 10:32am
Still waiting
I check the winHost  MS SQL Manager and see the usage is up to 6 mb
Maybe something is happening??

Time 10:50am
Still nothing

Time 11:16am
I REFRESH the page.
Then I see action

I keep checking the size of the Database using MS SQL Manager from the WinHost Dashboard
Size keep increasing until 14mb
But @ 11:29am

Waiting for http://yumatimes.com/dnn/Install/Inst...

That’s it, I can go no further

So I go to
Http://yumatimes.com/dnn

I am forwarded to http://yumatimes.com/dnn/Install/Upgr...

There was no screen as the video indicated, where I can assign the SuperUser
Now I am being asked to give the SuperUser Username and password. Which has not been defined yet.
If I enter “admin” and mypassword click the Upgrade Now button.
The page refreshes clearing my entries with no error message

I am stuck

After a failed install you have to delete the database, and files and start from beginning.

Do not select the dbowner property if it is not your database users default schema!

You can connect to the remote SQL server with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (Express) if the hoster have the ports open, after the database  is created.

Personaly I don't like setup scripts from a hoster.  I download my packages on codeplex and upload it via ftp to the server.

If the hoster is using Plesk as its hosting application, and you create over Plesk your new database and enable there the dbOwner property on database creation you have also to enable the dbOwner property on the DNN wizard.
