Dhanajeyan, please check, whether there are newer versions of the providers already installed - which would explain the error displayed.

Hi Sebastian,

As it happens to be, I believe I had 06.00.00 providers installed.

After I upgraded the site again to 06.02.03, The upgrade was complete with the following report

Please may I know what is the reason for the above errors.

One other question is

What is the difference between an upgrade and an new install

I am aware that I would lose my site membership,I am not considerate about that now because all the user details I have are in a separate DB and not in DNN DB and also I do not mind recreating the pages and modules again.

Apart from the above reason Is there any other issue that would occur which I should be aware of , if I do a new install of the version 06.02.03 instead of an upgrade.
