Hello all,

we are in the process of moving our DNN 05.06.02/SQL Server 08 from a shared hosting environment to a dedicated server. The website launched successfully but now I can't login! None of the usernames work and also I can't retrieve any passwords and neither I can register a new user.

This is very urgent so I would appreciate your help.

These are the errors I get:

Trying to login:

Login Failed. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive

Trying to register:

An error has occurred.
Error: User Registration is currently unavailable.

Trying to retrieve a password:

There was an error retrieving your password. No password was sent.

You can request your password by providing your User Name and the Password will be sent to the email address you provided during registration.

- I know that the machine keys should be restored, but this is not a site upgrade and nothing has been changed on the web.config apart from switching the values of the .NET Framework from 3.5.0.0 to 4.0.0.0

It looks like we've been given the wrong database from our bad bad bad host once again.

Now the problem has been resolved.
