I have the following strange issue. It seems to be a rights issue, but I cannot see it at this point.

AD is working (dnn623, childportal, ad provider 5.0.4., IIS 6, W2003) but auto login is not.

When I login at a work station with a regular user AD account, I get a login box, when I login with a domain administrator account I will be auto logged in.

When I browse as the regular user to http://mydomain.com/dnn/DesktopModule... I get "location cannot be reached" error
(also reported in: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/F...).
Of course I checked the file windowsSignin as integrated windows authentication.

However, when I browse as an admin, all is fine, and I am redirected.

What could be the issue here?

I've never seen that error before so I'm not sure what's happening. The only thing I can think of is to try using tracing to see what why your regular users are being denied.

Thanks Mike,

Just for the sake of knowledge capturing, we tested a bit more and we see that the auto logon works for the same user on another workstation in another subnet.
I am not sure why it worked for the administrator though.

Peter
