Hmmm ...

Could this be a client computer problem. It doesn't happen on my iPad or on another computer. But, it does happen on one computer.

It may look like the previous writer is the only one; Well he is not...

I did a fresh install of  RC 1562 Community Edition on our Windows 2008 R2 Server with IIS7 and SQL Server 2008, .NET4, Plesk for WIndows 10.

When going into edit mode dnn asked me to authenticate using username and password.I did find Newtonsoft.Json.dll in the bin directory.

When i swithched of form authorisation in IIS, this problem dissapeared.. Still, edit did not work. Afterwards i Swiched from Controlbar to ribbon bar. Now i can edit.

The funny thing is that the first time i logged in after the install, the edit feature appeared to work. It seemed to have stopped after logging off.

The best way to track this down is if someone can capture a fiddler trace in an .saz file when this problem occurs.

I too am experiencing the symptoms of the edit button not going into edit mode.  Here's link to my fiddler output recording the error.
