Hello DNN folks.

I am using DNN 5.6.4 and have an issue with the root menu selected item.  I have a horizontal top root menu.  When I select a menu item,  that item’s width is increased.  When I mouse over the select item, the width defaults to the smaller unselected menu item width.  This makes the menu items to the left of the select item “jump” back and forth horizontally.  I’ve had a couple of users contact me about the confusion and frustration it creates.

Is there a menu attribute to stop this or is there a css solution for selected menu item.

I’d appreciate any help.

Hi Clint.

For example, click on the “About Us” menu item under the “About CIR” root.  After the page is rendered, if you mouse over the “About CIR” menu item, the css uses an enlarged font because it is the selected root menu item.  This makes the items to the left of the selected item move horizontally.

It is the horizontal movement that I am trying to get rid of.

Hi Clint.
From your description I noticed I was changing "rootmenuitemselected" not "rootmenuitemselected TD". I made a few more changes to the .rootmenuitembreadcrumb TD element and it's looking good. The only issue now is the mouseover menu attributes. The menu item that I mouseover is bolded. I'm not sure how to use Firebug to get the menu item attributes on a mouseover. Any ideas?
