I am co-webmaster for a website that is presently non-functional. Any attempt to access the website results in the following error, which you can find at http://www.simo-ri.org/:

DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] ) 

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

Login failed for user 'app_simri654'. 

I believe that error may be related to the login information for the database being used for the website, which is a SQL Server 2000 Database. Our website was having login issues with DotNetNuke and was unable to access the SQL Server Database due to what I believe were space issues. In attempt to resolve the issue I had changed the password to login into the database. Now, access to the website is impossible even though the database can be accessed. I don't know how I can resolve the issue since this the version of DotNetNuke being used is earlier than the one offered on GoDaddy.com (our hosting provider; I think this was also a manual install). I have even tried to restore the database, but to no avail. If anybody has any suggestions or assistance, this would be greatly since, as of right now, we have no website.

Sounds like the password change could be the issue.

Open your web.config and see if the password matches the old one. If so, update it to match the new one and try again and let us know how it goes.

Unfortunately, the file structure being used does not have such a file, since the version of DotNetNuke being used is an earlier version and the CMS was installed manually (I believe). I also believe that the website may of had a defacement attack due to website files I had discovered  and deleted yesterday in the access_db folder. Now, I can't even access the file structure on GoDaddy.com.

I am unsure how I could check the previous passwords being used, as rolling back may solve this issue. Please let me know how I could do this, if possible.
