Is there any up to date documentation on configuring DNN 6.2.4 for a web farm on IIS7? I've searched through the site can only find articles or docs written several years ago. Are they still relevant? My questions are below:

  1. Is it possible to have 2 DNN instances on separate web servers using the same UNC path (for web the site content) AND database? From what I've read, you usually just run 2 separate instances (each having their own file folder and database). However, the problem with the later approach is synchronizing changes.
  2. What role does caching play on a web farm? Are we talking about client-side caching or server-side caching?
  3. What's the best practice on keeping both instances synced during changes to the site?
  4. Does DNN support sticky sessions? If so, how?
  5. Does DNN support persistent cookies? If so, how?

If anyone can provide detailed, up to date documentation, I would appreciate it. I think it's greatly needed. I would not mind even paying to get some decent instructions.
