Hi guys,

I am experiencing the same issue with DNNFreeStyle skin template as well. The submenu flyout is hidden behind the content of the TopPane. I tried applying the z-index to

.fs_menu_control .m0 {z-index: 10; border: 2px solid ##f5f4f4; background: white;padding: 7px 0;-webkit-border-radius: 6px;-moz-border-radius: 6px;border-radius: 6px;}
.fs_menu_control .m0 .mi td {z-index: 10; padding: 5px 5px 3px;}
.fs_menu_control .m0 .mi .icn {z-index: 10; padding-left: 10px;}
.fs_menu_control .m0 .mi.hov {z-index: 10; background: ##f5f4f4}

but it still doesnt work.
Anyone knows how to solve this issue.

Thanks alot,
Dave

Thanks Bill.
I resolve the issue by  doing {z-index: 1000}.
the weird thing is index: {z-index: 1 to 999} doesn't work. Which means that i have 999 layers infront?

This is actually pretty weird because when i take a look at other skins (DarkKnight and Classic), they did not define the index yet their skin do not have same issue.

But anyway, Thanks! Really appreciate your help!

David,

Maybe not 999 layers but you could have a single layer with 999 and using 1000 places it above it.

David

This has nothing to do with 999 layers. The highest z-index used in DotNetNuke is 999 which is used for the Dnnmodule class so all your content on top has to have a higher z-index than that.

 as for myself I always use this

http://jsfiddle.net/nokiko/LPBgh/

this way I dont have to fiddle with z-index
