None of these solutions have worked for me. My web.config setting has always been set to true. If I switch to ribbon bar, I can click on Edit This Page. It looks like it switches to edit mode, but none of the module editing buttons work for me. Clicking on the settings icon doesn't do anything, nor does clicking the edit/pencil icon on html modules. Plus, if I switch back to controlbar, as soon as I leave the page I can no longer get the edit options.

I tried an incognito window in Chrome and it allows me to Edit This Page while using the controlbar, but still the edit options on modules don't work.

I had this very issue until I followed a few links and found this....

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980368

Seems to be an issue with IIS and not DNN.

Version 7.0.3 is a basket case and the problems appear even worse when you do a fresh install.

DotNetNuke has always been full of bugs but this situation is getting out of control.

Anyone from DNN going to make a statement about what is going on and when fixes will be provided.
