I have been handed to manage a DNN site wich has for some time showed the following issue on some (but not all) user profiles

When accessing the profile page of that user (weather beeing the user himself or some some other user) while logged in, the followin error shows on both ViewProfile Modules:

An error has occurred. Error: is currently unavailable.
An error has occurred. Error: ViewProfile is currently unavailable.

With a SuperUser Account the error becomes more specific:

Error: is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserProfile.get_PhotoURL() at DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.ProfilePropertyAccess.GetProperty(String propertyName, String format, CultureInfo formatProvider, UserInfo accessingUser, Scope currentScope, Boolean& propertyNotFound) at DotNetNuke.Services.Tokens.BaseCustomTokenReplace.replacedTokenValue(String strObjectName, String strPropertyName, String strFormat) at DotNetNuke.Services.Tokens.BaseTokenReplace.ReplaceTokens(String strSourceText) at DotNetNuke.Services.Tokens.TokenReplace.ReplaceTokens(String strSourceText) at DotNetNuke.Services.Tokens.TokenReplace.ReplaceEnvironmentTokens(String strSourceText) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.ViewProfile.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---
Error: ViewProfile is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserProfile.get_PhotoURL() at DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.ProfilePropertyAccess.GetProperty(String propertyName, String format, CultureInfo formatProvider, UserInfo accessingUser, Scope currentScope, Boolean& propertyNotFound) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.ViewProfile.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

This issue prevents the MemberDirectory Module from working, thus denying the possibility to befriend or follow the users affected.

MemberDirectory reports:

An error occurred while processing the request:error

With a non autenticated user, the profiles of those with na issue can see the displayname on one of the ViewProfile Modules but the picture that should show up on the other ViewProfile Module doesn't show - in fact, the address of the profile pictures shows as http://(my.domain)/ActivityFeed/tabid...******* rather than the default http://(my.domain)/images/no_avatar.gif that shows for users without the issue

Users with custom picture don't suffer from this issue

Any ideas?

EDIT: Ok, the address got snipped above - the address for users with issue end with ActivityFeed / tabid / (tab id here) / userid / (user id here) / *******  (notice the buch of * where the filename should be)
