My other suggestion is that if you are able to provide me a copy of your site including database, I can try it in my dev environment and see if there is something going on in the code. Feel free to email me at webmaster @ the domain in my profile.

Thanks
Roger

Roger...I disabled the tooltip, the page definitely loads faster now. Probably about half the amount of time. Still not great, but it's better.

I'll leave tooltips off for a little bit, it could be because my client is not actually uploaded the images into DNN per event, instead he's essentially using a link to images on other sites. I'm trying to get him to not do that anymore.

Still...I thought performance on the events calandar was better at 1 time.

I don't think them loading the images from elsewhere should matter. Potentially it could improve performance since I think they would parallel load.

The offer to look at a download of your site still stands.

Cheers
Roger

Thanks Roger, let me get my hands on the site. I'm hosting on PowerDNN, so let gather the files.

Do you have an FTP location? I'll email your address so you have my email so you can get me details.

Hi Dan,

Not seen a mail come in, but maybe it got spammed. I also use PowerDNN, so I could potentially get you to upload to there, or you could give me temporary access to your FTP site to download from.

I've had someone report slow performance on Events 6.0.4 on DNN 6.2.4, and I think it is because they have disabled caching in Performance Settings in Host Settings, but I'm guessing this isn't the case for you. They commented it was doing many calls to GetTab when they analysed the DB traffic, and I think you said you had looked at DB traffic. I'm sure you would have commented if you had seen the same thing.

Cheers
Roger
