Hi All,

After migrating to 6.2.4 the user registration has made first name and last name fields optional - this has led to a lot of garbage registrations on our site. Is it possible to make these fields required/mandatory again?

Please help!

Thanks!

I have this same issue.  I think someone recommeded changing the .ASPX page, but this is a bug that should be reported.

Admin -->Site Settings -->User Account Settings --> Profile Settings --> check FirstName as Required, etc.

thanks,

that works if you are not specifying a registration page for registration. i.e. dnn throws up the popup on the page you were on when you clicked 'register'.

If you create a registration page and add the "Users and Roles" module to it (this also handles registration). And then delete the modules apart from "Add New user" then you have a registration page. Configure dnn site settings to use this page for registration.

When you hit 'register' the firstname and lastname fields are NOT required.

I will log this as another bug in Gemini.
