When I logged into the forum via the website area I see there is a message that says you are running 06.01.05.  This is relative to where I look for help, right?  It says I should upgrade the site, but I"m not doing that until I have figured some of the basics out.  Yikes.  :)

Lisa,

Nothing wrong with running DNN 6.01.05. and yes, you are correct that you should seek help for that version of DNN, but also understand that most functionality (unless being enhanced in a new version) is relatively similar throughout different versions of DNN.

My suggestion would be to take it one step at a time. Accomplish one task at a time and before you know it you'll be learning more than you realize.

Also, know that we have a DNN Partner Directory where you can find a list of web firms, hosting companies, integrators, etc that can assist you should you want to seek assistance. You can find them here: DNN Partner Directory.

Well I do have more knowledge than I did when I first posted my confusion in a sea of everything post.  Thanks for the advice to resource the videos.  I am moving along at my own speed...  slower than most!

I've managed to make some updates on the website!

I'm coming back to this post because I just cannot  connect the dots in your instructions, Chris, to find this damn image and remove it!  I give up and have come for idiot instructions!  If someone has a few moments to tell me the click path to get there I will be so very grateful!

Apparently having full access to the website files and folders just isn't enough! Ha.  Thanks in advance for the helpful hints.

Lisa,

No worries... what image are you referring to? I do not see the image you previously indicated earlier in the post.
