That is part of the issue, might need to check why that is (permissions on the USERS folder perhaps?)

I just sent my ISP a request to reset the DNN permission on all my folders. We'll see how that works out. Thank you for the help!

For the Active Forums specific parts of your question, you may want to post in the Active Forums discussion page on CodePlex:

Note that AF 5.0.2 is not entirely compatible with DNN 7

I made some changes to my DNN profiles today on my racing site to get better Avatar synchronization, basically in the Profile page I updated the template to use the following for the profile image, instead of [PROFILE:PHOTO]

<span><img alt="Profile Avatar" class="ProfilePhoto" width="120" height="120" src="/profilepic.ashx?userid=[USER:USERID]&w=120&h=120" /></span>

Not sure that will solve any of your problems, but it will at least get more places on the site using the same path/url for photos, instead of different ones.

Well I got my ISP to reapply DNN permissions to the web folder.

I edited the user profile templet with the code above. And I still get the default blank avatar everywhere except the edit profile page where the image displays correctly. Looking at the image path it still is trying to go to the same path you posted previously even though I changed the templet code. Tried 3 different images on my profile same result. Interesting when I upload a image to the new DNN journal it displays fine there (all images journal, avatar, etc seem to upload to the same folder), seems only to be a issue when trying to get the avatar to display.

Any ideas?
