I have not been able to find the web.config fix.

i have tried multiple search terms on dates between last November and now.

If you could point me towards it, it would surely be appreciated.

I will keep working on this as i must get this up and running properly.

thanks.

First, here is the web.config issue: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=24127&PROJID=2

It only applies if you are running iis 7 though. Here's the post:
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/107/threadid/476682/scope/posts/threadpage/2.aspx

I did the fix anyway, still no help for me. The HTML module is the only one I've been playing with, but definitely not working right .. changes not saving, long databind cycles, logout when going to "edit content".

Let me know if this fixes your issue.  I'm thinking about reinstalling the html module to see if that helps me at all.

i just attended the new installation webinar and verified that file permissions are set properly including appool\

I am missing somthing somewhere and getting these errors in the chrome inspection console:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Unauthorized) http://..../DesktopModules/Journal/AP...
  1. POST http://.../DesktopModules/InternalSer... 401 (Unauthorized) jquery.min.js:4
    1. f.extend.ajaxjquery.min.js:4
    2. (anonymous function)ModuleActions.js:218
    3. d.completejquery.min.js:4
    4. f.extend.tick
so it seems like a file permission issue....

the appool has modify permissions. the pool recycled, app restarted, cache cleared.....

I continue to get the same errors.
