Finally upgraded our site www.sysint.no from dnn 4.6 to 7.0.3 ;)

I'm not able to get the CONTROLBAR to work properly.
When I click "Edit This Page" - to switch into edit mode nothing happens?
The check box "Stay in Edit mode" is not either possible to check. (the one below is active/enable - but nothing happens.
Update: most functions does not work in the CONTROLBAR - Add Module etc. etc.

Any hints? Anyone else experienced the same?

BTW: Upgrade went smooth - had to replace the SOLPARTMENU in our skin and som 3 party modules - beside from this things seems ok for now. (also moved the site to new 64 bit web server - and some settings on the application pool was needed to get things to work properly - load profile / 32 bit apps etc . ;)

I realize that this discussion is old but I'm sure some people are still having problems so I thought it would be worth posting what worked for me. I recently deleted 15+ modules from my DNN 7 site and after that my Controlbar Edit button was not working but the Ribbon was. After trying many things (modifying web.config, etc.) I found a suggestion to add Newtonsoft.Json.dll to my DNN bin folder and that fixed the problem without using any modifications in the web.config. I got the Newtonsoft.Json.dll file from inside the Json.NET 5.0 Release 8 (source + binary).

I'm wondering whether this file was present when I installed DNN or if it was added by a module then deleted when I removed all my modules. I'm interested to hear more about this file and if my solution is safe.
