Hi,

I bought am HTML theme for my website, I want to use this theme in DotNetNuke.

So what I did was to upload the theme to my DNN theme directory and then did: Parse Skin Package

The theme seems to be working, except for the fact that none of the js files are rendering.

I tried to add them the script way: <script type="text/javascript" src="my-source"> </script> this did not seem to work, so I tried <dnn:DnnJsInclude runat="server" FilePath="my-source" /> but this also doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Regards

I would suggest trying to install it via host->extensions - also, please unzip it first to check that it is a skin file, often vendors have multiple containers/skins within one zip and when they uncompress the folder structure is wrong (they intend for you to unzip first and upload the appropriate zip)

You cannot add the js files in the head of your HTM skin, the head is removed on parse.
(I'm assuming you are parsing an HTM skin)
Instead put them in the body of you HTM skin

When you say you bought a HTML theme - was this a DNN theme -  from what you are saying im assuming not.

You cant just use any html theme in DNN they need to be customised with DNN specific elements otherwise any number of elements on DNN simply may not work correctly.
