Hi All,

Just got a fresh DNN 7 install done on new hardware. I decided to try using WIndows Server 2012 and SQL 2012. Not having done many installs... took awhile... but went in with no troubles or errors reported.

The only things I have done over the fresh install are"-

 1) delete some of the "Cycle" related items - either specific modules added or pages

2) "Tried" uploading an old DNN 5 skin - one by Nukeville ... which didnt work.

3) Added a couple of new regions to the SQL list table... which was working in DNN 5

I then went into the User profile page... and clicked "Edit"... I received the following message:-

"A critical error has occurred. Maximum stored procedure, function, trigger, or view nesting level exceeded (limit 32)"

Any ideas as to what/where this might be coming from?? Anyone else seen anything similar?

I took a complete system and folder backup prior to doing "anything" ... so will restore the system tonight to see if it relieves the problem going back to a complete virgin install. Will report back, but look forward to anyone's thoughts here.

OK... so the bad news. Server 2012 restore from my backup is flaky, so I dont have a restore point :(

Will have to reinstall.

The potential good news... I found this link in the forums that points to my problem:-

Not sure why it didnt show up in my advanced search... but I found it when browsing the SQL Forum.
