Hi all,

I am writing my first module and am trying to implement the iPortable interface. However, when exporting content I receive "The module specified does not support the exporting of content".

I have the ExportModule and ImportModule methods implemented within my FeaturesController class (which has been defined as the Business Controller Class). I also added the Supported Features tags in the DNN Manifest.

I am at a loss as to why this error is thrown. Could somebody please review my code and hopefully see the error in my implementation?

It appears that there is a mis-match of namespaces for the business controller class defined in the manifest. The namespace for the FeatureController class (defined in FeatureController.cs) is "Christoc.Modules.Guestbook.Components" while in the manifest's businessControllerClass node the fully qualified class is "DotNetNuke.Modules.Guestbook.Components.FeatureController".

Also, in FeatureController.cs the inheritance of the IPortable, etc. interfaces and their implementation has been commented out - but I assume that was done for testing purposes.

You were right, in the Manifest I was pointing to an invalid path instead of the correct path to the Feature Controller. All fixed now. :)
