Hi,

I wanted the option of existing users to be able to sign in to my website by using there Live accounts, but the problem I am having is that when a users chooses this option at the login screen, and once you have authorised the App, it registers you under on my site again, and you don't get the choose to link an existing DNN account.

Obviously I have done something wrong or missed something, but I don't know what. Here's what I did to setup:

Host>Extensions>Available Extensions>Authentication Systems>Installed DotNetNuke Live Authentication Project
Set up my App at Live Connect Developer Center (redirect domain as: http://mywebsite/login.aspx)
Admin>Extensions>Authentication Systems> Edit DotNetNuke Live Authentication Project and enter App ID and Secret and enable
Logged out, then go to Login and choose 'Sign in with Windows Live'
But this creates a new account on my site.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what I have done wrong ?

Yep, that is how it works.

The social login features are more kind of sample applications that really fit for production. If you need more functionality, you would have to create that yourself, or ask someone to do that for you
