proper links would be
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js
and
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.10.3/jquery-ui.min.js

Hi Sebastian,

The jquery

http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js
and
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.10.3/jquery-ui.min.js

is the installed version - that is what I have been using. I have tried it with the installed and with the latest hosted jquery but the file manager simply does not work.  I currently have the site using the installed version. I have updated  Windows 2008 with patches on the server, but when I tried to apply  the hotfix suggested by Erik van Ballegoij (missing hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980368/en-us ) it says "This update dose not apply to your system".

There seems to be a lot of people running into this issue so any help to fix this would be beneficial to a lot of people.

To All,
I wish I had something constructive to add.........

I too am having this issue. A fresh new install of 7.2.0 on my Win7 dev PC works fine. I upgraded a 5.6.8 version on a Windows Server 2008 R2 to latest 6.x.x version first (without any issues), then upgraded to 7.2.0. File Manager page is empty in both Admin and Host. Icons have also defaulted to the "puzzle piece" icon for most of the Admin/Host features.

I am using hosted jquery ( but tried the suggestion of using local, no help). Also using default Gravity skins.

I've been working on this for about 2 weeks now. What a pain!

I have been using DNN since 2.0.12, have 60+ sites installed, and have spending more and more of my time 'fixing' upgrade issues instead of using the framework in developing websites. The quality of testing by DNN for releases since 6.x.x has been getting worse and worse. Way too may 'things" are slipping past quality control at DNN.

Come on Shawn and crew! What the heck! SharePoint starting to look good!

 Dave,

are you Aware that there some funtamental changes on the 7.x Versions and have you notice them?  DNN 7.0 Comes with new Default.css stlysheet file that is no longer compatible with older SkinObjects and so with older Skins.  DNN 7.1 Comes with new jQuery and jQueryUI library that also can affected custom modules and SKINS ! Also the database compatibility Level for DNN 7.x Versions have to changed to 100 or higher before you run the upgrade!  SQL Server 2008 or higher is a prerequest.

Downloading zip files on newer Windows Version need to unblock before you extract them.  Otherwise some files are blocked as critical files from the Windows System!
