I think I see what you mean - one reviewer had put "It would also be nice to see some more updated featured trickle down to the CE that have been long desired... And the ones features I have submitted to make the CMS better also be used in the CE edition and not just EVOQ. Makes me bummed to see ideas I want going to the community be used but not by the community.  "

Looking at their codeplex history (https://www.codeplex.com/site/users/v...) , they haven't logged any platform issues or created any patches. I don't know their real name/email, but searching for "thabaum" in jira and community voice does not show any entries, and looking it github (where we accept pull requests) does not show anything resembling that creating a fork to support a pull request (https://github.com/dnnsoftware/Dnn.Pl...)

As such I think they simply mean they have logged improvement suggestions (i.e. ideas and not code), and these are currently only in evoq. As such I see nothing wrong here, as multiple people will have similar ideas (e.g. we get lots of suggestions for existing evoq features)-it's the implementation of these that takes time.

Hi Cathal,
It's not entirely clear what the original author was alluding to, I agree, although it is clear that he/she is not very happy with DNN Corp. and feel aggrieved about your actions but for now you have the benefit of the doubt, as there is some. Hopefully the original author might see this post and care to clarify his comment for us, Thabaum?

Anyway, I brought it up here as it is the place to discuss all things DNN related and felt it needed clarification and as I said I hope my understanding of this is wrong.

Please note, I did extensive searching (including partial matches for "tha" and "baum" and was unable to find anything - I am confident it was just an ambiguous message and not anything nefarious on our part.

Looks like its someone who thinks they maybe suggested an idea for a new feature - as opposed to someone that submitted an actual code patch or update.

There are a number of references to the person on codeplex - https://www.codeplex.com/site/users/v... - and a number of dnn related posts relating to different modules
This http://dnnblog.codeplex.com/workitem/... could possibly be one of the original sources of the persons agro. Though google also has other threads that follow the same theme from him.

Yes, it is very sad what is happening here...

I had a major crash this week, and posted about it yesterday. Overnight there was a total of 18 views, 0 answers.

A couple of years ago, that would have been viewed hundreds of times by now and gotten a least a couple of suggestions on how to fix it. I guess I'm on my own now...

I'll have to talk to the school board to see if they are willing to purchase the enterprise version, that seems to be the only way to get consistent support now. Either that or we make the move to a different platform.
