The question would have the site worked as espected after the upgrade.  If not the issue could be on the upgrade steps.  On the Version changing from DNN 4.8 to 7.x there are several prerequest changes, on the Windows Server Versions, SQL Server Version and .Net Versions.  Also there are several steps needed to upgrade from an older DNN version.  Also there could be Skin and module issues.

The Information we have are to small to know what was the issue.  Some what can help is check the upgrade logs on Host Settings for any issue that through on the upgrade.  Checking the SqlDataProvider logs to see if there where any issues on upgrade.
