I have tried what you suggested and still can't get it to run. I still get this page:

http://localhost/Install/UnderConstruction.htm

I think it has something to do with the Windows 7. Any other suggestions? Please. I just need my local DNN to run.

I don't think you should do that. You had a working install on XP; you have moved it to another machine; you DON'T want to install again, you just want it to run. I have moved lost of installed sites between machines. I *never* do that.

Thanks for the reply Richard, you are correct. That was a typo. I meant to say that I set the auto install function to false.
