Please try a transfer of both connection strings, Maschine Key and databaseOwner and objectQualifier to a new web.config file.  Backup the oldone before create the new web.config.

This seems to have broken more than it fixed. After copying a new web.config from an install zip, updating it with the connection strings and machine keys, I am now getting an error about "Could not load file or assembly 'Telerik.Web.UI' or one of its dependencies."

I created a new "Parent Portal" and the same Login Skin Object issue exists there as well. I thought it might be limited to child portals but I was wrong. So the only portal that this functions on with no issues is my original parent portal.

OK... the plot thickens... I have one child portal that will allow me to login. When I login with my host account, and try to access any page from the Host menu, I get the 500 Internal Server error. When logged into my primary portal with the same account everything works fine.
