DNN Q&A Module

I know the DNN Q&A module is not longer official, but I'm still using it (and like it).

Only current problem is that the required validation on the title field does not work. If someone does not fill the field, the question still gets posted with the default reminder as the title (I think it was originally "What is your DotNetNuke Question", although I change this in the localisation).

The code in AskQuestion.ascx is:

<asp:LinkButton ID="cmdSave" runat="server" resourcekey="cmdSave" CssClass="dnnPrimaryAction" OnClick="CmdSaveClick" /></li>

I tried adding a ValidatioGroup to this and the LinkButton, but it did not help.

Any suggestions on other things to try would be great.

I managed to get this to work by adding:

OnClientClick="Page_ClientValidate('vgTitle'); if(Page_IsValid==false) {return false; }"

to the linkButton (and the 'vgTitle' validation group to the RequiredFieldValidator). I also had to remove all the classes (dnnFormRequired, qaplaceholder, qaAskQuestion) from the title control.

In case anyone else has the same problem.
