When I insert a link to an image (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/portals/0/Images/DNN/DNNCorp_logo_lrg.png), instead of displaying a thumbnail it just says "Null". I can't find any information on how to resolve this issue.   After you click the Share button, it will display the link but not the thumbnail.  Has anyone ever experienced this?  Also I have upgraded DNN to 7.2.

I noticed the HTML img src does not include the link to the image.

Sorry not that functionality.

Try this in the Journal. If you add a Youtube video such as http://youtu.be/3oQLcvCsPjc, it will load a thumbnail below the textfield with a description of the video. Click Share and thumbnail is still there with link to the video and description.

Now try inserting a link to an image http://www.dnnsoftware.com/portals/0/.... The preview below it just displays "Null". After you click Share, the thumbnail is not generated.

Checked the Event log but nothing is generated.

I can recreate this in 7.2.1 - based on the json returned it seems that the issue is that the image title/description is null, causing the issue. The code would have to be updated to skip null titles/description and to simply show the image preview (or disable image link previews - I think this is the issue as it expects a page and not an image). Please log it to support.dnnsoftware.com (and mention this posts URL)
