Hi, I built a portal to include skin, modules, file structure and some how exported this as a site template with no admin pages checked.
Not a problem you might think!  except that,  I then used the site wizard on the original portal (I thought I was in another portal)  and included the template so now have no admin pages on my original site (even when logged in as super user).
Now I have 2 questions
1. Is there a way to restore the admin pages back on a portal via a query or other method (we have full access to servers and database)
2. Is there way to remove redundant or uneeded portals

In case anybody else gets in this situation, i could not find a solution to the admin pages (other than restore from a backup) but I found out why I could not delete the portals.

I had created a site group to share data across so had to uncheck the portals from this to be able to delete.

to recreate admin pages for a site, you need to place the Page Management module on a page of your site and should be able to recreate all other pages as well.
