I'm looking for documentation on how to configure the WebServices Role Services for a DNN website; server 2k8R2.

Everything I find has IIS already installed and configuring IIS.  Where's the docs explaining what roles need to be installed for DNN to run properly?

What roles are you referring to ... Dnn runs as a regular asp.net 4.x website ... It requires not other special configuration behind that as a rule

When you have a new server, you select the Web Server (IIS) Server Role.

Then, there's Web Server Role Services.  It's these services which I have questions about.  Things like Security (authentication), performance, etc.

Where's the documentation explaining what needs to be configured on the server for DNN to work properly on a new server, IIS installation.

there isn't any as the needs of your website are known to you, not to us i.e. we have no idea if you plan on using windows authentication, impersonation etc. For a base install, you just need to select the defaults and add asp.net (and windows authtication if using that) - it's typical to also add IIS management console -see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/li... or http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/clo...
