Ilpo: Thanks so much for working on this and providing the updated files.

I prefer the "core" DNN Forums over Active Forums (as do the users of the site where Forums are a major part).

Same for me, migrating to new product just because DNN Forums is not getting any updates is not a reason for migration.
Have been updating forum for quite some time, now just decided to make those changes public and also fixing some of the issues that there have been.

Hi Ilpo,

I know this is an old post - but I have been researching updating my 7.01.100 (2676) DNN site to version 7.4.2 ... and I want to make sure that the old Forum module still works with it. I went here: https://github.com/juvander/DotNetNuk...

... and downloaded 5.0.5 - are you using this on the current DNN release?

Yes, that is the one that is used on my and couple of other sites that I maintain. All of them are on latest DNN release.
