Looked into this a bit because I recall the tech I spoke with at our ISP saying a patch was recently applied.

Here's what I found, pretty much date-coincident in that it is well after any of these other sites were set up, upgraded, etc. and I had no problems and importantly, just one month ago and I'm having issues now:

This may be something, I don't know enough to say one way or the other.  I'll have our ISP check it out.

Thanks Loads!

Mike

I would click the + by Sheathcorp.com. I'm wondering if there is a NewDevDNNVIS lurking below it.

Richard,

No go, same issue.  I did find out how to fix the other issue -- need to install all the particulars for the DDR Menu.  This will handle the skin object issues for the production site.

However, the client has a new site so I still need to solve why I can't make a new install without hitting the 404.4 error.

I made SURE, triple sure that I followed the procedure at this link line by line: http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/how-to-install-the-source-package-of-dotnetnuke.  I switched the other website off since it is local host and also running port 80.  So, here's a new screen shot of the error -- clear of any reference to sheathcorp.com:

So, back to square one -- what do we do now?  Any ideas?

 Thanks in advance!

 Mike

Looking at the URL it is complaining about. In IIS Manager, the *standard* place for this would be below the default web site.

What is beneath the + of the default web site?

What bindings do you have active to bring it to NewDNNDEVIS?

Best wishes,
