Hey guys,

I've a website using localization, Spanish and Russian.

The Desktop version works just fine for both languages but, whenever I go to the mobile or tablet version it doesn't work at all. The Russian flag image doesn't response, it takes me back to the Spanish version. The weird thing is the URLs, for the desktop version I've standard URL such as http://www.gazetarusa.cr/Compatriotas but whenever I go to the mobile I get a bunch of weird characters that don't match the right URL at all.

The guys from the skin already troubleshoot the problem by getting back to the default skin and the same problem occurred. Once again the Desktop site works 100% but the mobile/tablet don't whenever I want to go to the Russian version.

Any thoughts? The site's URL is www.gazetarusa.cr, you guys can try to access this site using a mobile device to find the problem I' talking about.

Thanks for all your help in advanced.

Hi,

which version of DNN is used ?
It could be relative to that problem : https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/browse/DNN-4882 (fixed in 7.3.0, but if you consider to upgrade go to 7.3.1)
For information, the weird characters are the html version for russian ones, this should be due to the navigator (eg : on an android device, i've the html version (the "weird" ones), and on a windows phone i've the russian characters, but on mobile (tablet and phone) the part /ru-ru/ is missing from url (which seem to be related to the bug DNN-4882)
Hth, regards

I don't have the version right now but it's not 7.3.0 or the latest 7.3.1. I went through the link you shared and it seems they're talking about my problem. :-)
Thanks for helping me Julien. I'll get the site upgraded and let you know.

If you are going to upgarde, remember don't upgarde without backup.

You should backup :
1/ All the files constituting the website
2/ The database

The best is to mount a copy of the production website on a development environment and test upgrade on the dev.
once upgrade is ok on dev, as you have a backup (used to mount the dev ), then upgarde the production.
