I'm using syntax that looks like this for a custom field we setup called Certifications. It works fine.

  • :

  • I've added the same syntax for Linkedin information and it doesn't show up?

  • :

  • The permissions are the same on the two fields, both in the Admin - User Profile Settings and the user that I've got the data in.

    Any words of wisdom?

    Thanks,

    Dave

    Any thoughts why the same syntax would work for one profile attribute but not another with the same exact permissions?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Are both properties of same base type? AFAIR, only text types are supported ín some of the code - usually to provide text for search, but same might apply to some advanced other use cases.

    Thank you Sebastian, that seemed to work.  It seems that your custom fields to the category "Basic".  The core fields can be under "Contact"?  It doesn't make alot of sense, but I will explore more and report back here.

    One question about syntax.  I'm displaying the Facebook contact field and it doesn't link.  I've tried numerous combinations, but I can't seem to get it link.  Here is the syntax that allows it to display in Mr Profile.

    <li data-bind="visible: Facebook().length > 0"><strong><span data-bind="text: FacebookText">:</span></strong><span></span> <span data-bind="text: Facebook()"></span></li>

    Any suggestions on how to get this to be a working link?

    Thanks again,
    Dave
