Hello,
developing a DNN module I added some files to the project in new sub directories like /Handlers/ and /icons/
when building the project these are NOT added to the Resources.zip which is being created and put to the ModuleName_<version>_Install.zip

To add this I guess it is necessary to manually modify the Resources.zip.manifest file in the project. Is that correct?
However doing so does not affect my resulting Resources.zip file.

What is the best way to tell the project to include specific files in subdirectories to the Resources.zip file which will be installed?

Thanks and Regards
Dieter

Hi Dieter,

Would I always do is to manually add the files/folder directly in the resource.zip (the actual zip file).

Once you have packaged the module I would suggest that you also check the integrity of the package by running it this the Dnn EVS ( evs.dnnsoftware.com )

Hope this helps you out,

Regards,

geoff

Hi Geoff,

thank you for your answer. I hoped to be able to do this in an automated way which would make it easier not to miss out any file. But so I will go ahead doing it manually as suggested.

Greetings,

Hi
In order to do it manually, add the files to your package folder, specify the path in the .dnn file and zip the package folder. Better to create package from the development site again.

Thanks,
