The document manager works for me, but I can't create a link in either IE or Chrome, instead it inserts a span with telerik_marker around the text which does exactly nothing for the link.

In addition in IE 11, I get an exception when hitting a CR to put in a newline. This is even AFTER uploading the new Telerik control. The exception happens no matter the editor type used. Tested this on 2 different 7.3.3 installations and several different skins to ensure it wasn't style related.

I should correct my last statement. The CKeditor works fine. It's just that all my customers have to be notified and retrained to do editing. Also any special configurations for each site has to be done over (except for rights).

Sebastian, when you say 'most likely', we need more assurance. Can't switch now, train customers and then find out have to switch to something else.

Also, will the CKeditor continue to be maintained as a separate project and not folded into the DNN releases (like the DNNRadEditor)? Some of us don't like have to do a complete upgrade each time an editor bug needs fixing.

Robert,

Can you look in Host >> Extensions and see what version of the Telerik package is installed?  It should be 7.3.4.  I posted a Telerik 7.3.4 package on CodePlex earlier this week and also updated the DNN 7.3.3 packages yesterday to include this fix as well.

If you are still seeing a link issue in RadEditor then it is likely that you are still running the older version.

Robert,

The plan is to include CKEditor in DNN 7.4.0.  But as you rightly point out, until it is actually shipped, plans are subject to change.

CKEditor will continue to be developed as a separate Open Source project.
