Thanks guys... It's frustrating: Telerik seems to have taken the page down from their site, and I can't quite tell from the help pages I found. Most things say that you can only use the DNN-wrapped controls. That makes me think that Sebastian is probably correct: that you can use the Telerik library as long as it's to use elements in the DNN-wrapped controls. But, it would be nice to have some real clarification on that. It seems borderline impossible to use a lot of the functionality (particularly because of the events) if you can't reference the telerik library in some way.

The page is probably gone because they have just been acquired by Progress.

As with any 3rd party component, you can find the licensing information in the \Licenses folder - it makes it clear that you can only use the wrappers to access components. However I see you point about consuming events - in platform we only wrap components, we consume the telerik events themselves, it would seem that would be fine for 3rd parties referencing dnn's custom telerik dll, but perhaps a mail to telerik to confirm would be wise

Great - thanks Cathal. I was going to use the same license and stuff as DNN platform uses, so I suspect that's pretty safe.

Hope all's well,

Mike
