When a user registers or attempts to edit the user profile, many fields do not allow data entry.  (All required fields permit data entry, but the vast majority of the fields on the page do not allow data entry.)  A required field shows the data, but does not permit editing.  The photo field displays -1, but no opportunity to upload a new image.

When "Display Profile Visibility" in User Account Settings is checked, all fields whether or not they permit editing, display the profile visibility setting for each field.

The Event Viewer shows no activity. The issue occurs in both IE11 and Chrome. We're running DNN Platform 07.03.04 (45).

Can you help me to get the profile fields editable?

is the site set to use "private" registration - if so the user must have their account verified by the admin in admin->user accounts before they have full site access
