The SEO templates define both the on-line meta tags as well as the ons in the sitemap (and they should be the same).

A sitemap can only be generated if it is activated.

Submitting a site sitemap to search engines is certainly a good idea to do, if you want your site to be better indexed by search engines...

Hi,

To answer your question on the url of the detail of an event.

In dnn, to make the urls more user friendly, there is a Url rewriter. This makes for exemple the page urls user friendly.

If you want module uls user friendly, you (or the module developer) have to develop a url provider for dnn.

Actually there don't exist one for the event module.

Alternatively, you can use Open Url Rewriter, which is also based on providers to made user friendly urls for modules.

There exist a generic SQL provider with a example to rewrite the urls of the event module.
