Hi All,

Am very new to dnn, just now i have installed a new dnn using web matrix.

I have not installed any other modules or components, before doing so i want to upgrade the dnn first.

I have checked my current installed version is 07.03.02 (109) i want to upgrade it to DNN 07.04.

Please let me know how can i do it.  I also downloaded  this file DNN_Platform_07.04.00_Upgrade.zip

But i have no idea, where i need to install it or do i need to copy files and paste file in the root.

Please let me know step by step procedure as am very new to dnn.

 Thanks in Advance.

I would be careful upgrading to 7.4.0 due to a couple of new issues introduced with new Features - atm I suggest upgrading to 7-3-4 and wait for 7.4.1
to upgrade your DNN, unblock downloaded upgrade package (in file properties) and unzip hierarchically into DNN Folder, overwriting existing files.
Now browse your site and the upgrade process will be triggered.
Don't forget to start with a backup of all files and the database.
