We've run across a problem wherein  we want a SiteMap that has <loc>'s with Full URLs. Our production site's SiteMap, however, has Relative URLs. Peculiarly, our development environment SiteMaps are displaying Full URLs. Both environments are using the coreSitemapProvider with default settings under /admin/search-engine-sitemap. I haven't found a setting for the SiteMap's URL types anywhere. Am I missing something here?

I would do a file comparison between the development and production environment web.config files, to check for differences.

Also examine your Site Alias settings - a change in these might be causing a change in the output of the site maps. If the development environment is doing what you want, it's just a matter of changing the configuration and settings to match, in your production environment.
