Like many others, I set registration to "None" on several of our DNN sites to stop spam registration bots after experiencing thousands of registrations per site. I managed to remove the unauthorized users by using the built-in Admin/User Accounts screen and deleting all unauthorized users.

However, it appears that the files created under \Portals\x\Users still exist (although they are empty). Furthermore, the DNN database tables (specifically Folders and FolderPermissions) still have thousands of entries referencing these folders. It would appear that simply deleting the folders will not remove the database entries, and I'm hesitant to directly update the DNN database tables without fully understanding the possible side-effects.

Is there an easy way to remove both the folders and the database entries so that only those belonging to verified users remain?

I'm currently running DNN 7.4.0 on the affected sites.

Thanks in advance!
